Texas Prepaid Electricity Plans
A prepaid electricity plan is a residential energy contract that features lower, secured pricing that every Texan can take advantage of. Prepaid energy plans are an attractive option for many Texas homes and apartments because there’s no credit requirements and no deposit needed. For only $40 upfront, you can lock in our cheapest rate for up to one year.
Choose Between Two Plans
Our prepaid electricity plans include a fixed kWh rate. Consumers who have variable-rate energy plans must deal with drastic price hikes during the summer and winter months, but our price will not change for the duration of the contract.
Texas prepaid electricity plans are offered in six or twelve month term lengths:
- 6 Month Prepaid Plan – No energy price hikes for six months.
- 12 Month Prepaid Plan – The same stable rate for one year.

Advantages of Choosing Prepaid Electricity Plans
Many homeowners find it easier to track their consumption when using a prepaid electricity plan, since you can simply check the remaining balance. You can easily get a picture of your average daily consumption, and you can detect days where your energy usage was higher than normal.
Another advantage of prepaid electricity is being able to pay at any time, since you are not bound to a monthly billing cycle. You can add cash to your account once per week if preferred, or you can make a large payment that will cover several months at once. Prepaid electricity companies don’t require a credit check or security deposit when you get enrolled, since you are paying upfront.
